The meaning of that date, more than anything, is the opportunity we have to reflect on the world in which we live. The word (regardless of any religious connotation), sends us the light of Christ that illuminates the world. According to tradition, it is on Hallelujah Saturday that Círio Pascal is lit, a candle on which the Greek letters Alfa and Omega are engraved, which mean "GOD is the beginning and the end of everything".
Now, if it is the beginning and the end of everything, because many of us forget it and, we only remember, when we want: to ask for something, to regret, in dangerous situations, but many times, we forget to thank. Some people will wonder why, when it comes to Holy Week, I chose to write specifically about Hallelujah Saturday, it is simple, because of the meaning it contains, that is, the Supreme Architect of the Universe, who since he created the world, gives us every chance from birth to death, to walk a path where we can choose love or pain (free will).
However, are we able to make the best choice? Love, today, is a day so mistreated and pointed out as guilty of our suffering, that it became “fashion”, we turn our backs on this feeling and choose to play around “shooting” in all directions, without being attached to anyone. , because we have the erroneous illusion that to give satisfaction to the other is to become prisoners, not realizing it, that the true prison is within us, being free has nothing to do with sharing our moments, fears, sadness, joys, defeats and victories with someone, we will only be prisoners if we are not true, the lie is the real prison.
If God is the beginning and the end of everything, and has left us a message of LOVE, how can we despise such a gift? So, let's share LOVE, in all forms (starting with loving ourselves) to, after all, find the light instead of the darkness of lie. Have an Easter 2014 full of Light!
May the joy of Easter invade your heart and that of those you love, radiating light to illuminate and shine the world in which we live, filling it with love, health and peace. Happy Easter!
