Well, these are two feelings that, as much as we want to ignore them, are part of our personality. Pride is a feeling of satisfaction, joy, fulfillment. We can be proud of an achievement, of professional success, of that formidable mother (as I am of mine), of being part of a successful social project, of also knowing how to be grateful for life. Anyway, it can be a healthy feeling, it depends on the way we look at it.
The ego, ah ... The ego can often be confused with arrogance, selfishness, very dangerous feelings, which can even become destructive. And, incredible as it may seem, at first glance, depending on how we look at it, it can produce good fruits, because, depending on the circumstance, it can serve as an example of feeling that, if not well worked, can lead the person to commit many mistakes, but those same mistakes can turn into a great life lesson.
And, in the end, we will feel “proud”, that we have mastered this trend, which is not healthy, and we will become better people, for our inner growth and even, for our better coexistence with others.
